EC declares 372 EVMs not working on polling day in AP

Amaravati: The Election Commission has clarified that 372 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are not working during the polling process in Andhra Pradesh. 

They were complain received that Electronic voting machines are not working, which hampered the poll process. Voters queued up in considerable numbers at polling stations to exercise their franchise. On hearing EVMs not working they found returning home unable to stand under the sizzling summer heat. The TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu alleged that 30 per cent of EVMs are not working, and demanded to conducted repolling in those areas. 

On the other side, they were clashes reported between TDP and YSRCP workers during the polling process at the sensitive constituencies across the state.
