Article
Tirumala: YSRCP Chief and leader of the Opposition, Andhra Pradesh had darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala last evening. This was the final point of the agenda after he successfully completed his walkathon and mass contact initiative, the Praja Sankalpa Yatra on January 9, 2019. It seemed like the last leg of his Padayatra ,as the climb uphill which he completed barefoot accompanied by the YSCRP party leaders and people who came in hordes to see the people's leader.

YSRCP MLA RK Roja said that the main reason why YS Jagan undertook his Praja Sankalpa Yatra was to highlight the failures and corruption synonymous with the tyrannical rule of Chandrababu Naidu. She said that because he had taken Lord Venkateshwara's blessings, YS Jagan was saved from the murder attempt on him at the Vizag airport .He was able to come out alive and pay his obeisance's to the lord and she also exuded confidence that nobody could stop YS Jagan becoming the next Chief Minister. Roja also expressed her surprise that he choose to walk up the hill barefoot and opt for darshan like a common man ensuring that not a single pilgrim was inconvenienced in the bargain. Roja said that she was proud to be associated with a leader like him.

Speaking at Tirumala, senior YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the Praja Sankalpa Yatra was a historic moment in India as YS Jagan met more than one and half crore people directly, who heard his speeches and shared their problems with him as well. He said that YS Jagan was born with a silver spoon, yet, for the sake of people he went on his Praja Sankalpa Yatra staying away from his family enduring extremely difficult conditions and adversities of weather. He also expressed confidence that YS Jagan would become the next Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Former Tirupati MP Varaprasad said that the Lord would certainly bless YS Jagan and would also grant the people's wishes making him the next Chief Minister. Reacting sharply to the Telugu Desam Party leaders comments during the Padayatra, he said that the Chandrababu Naidu had made more than 600 promises to the state and had failed to deliver any of them. He said that it was the YSRC Party that was fighting alone for the cause of special status and development of Andhra Pradesh.
