Bellamkonda Srinivas's Wrong Clash In Wrong Time

By continuously being part of those big budgeted films, hero Bellamkonda Srinivas is trying to prove that he is here to stay and score, no matter how long it takes. His upcoming film "Kavacham" got huge attention now, thanks to Chota's kiss on Kajal's cheek at the trailer launch event.

However, what has stunned many trade analysts is that Kavacham got set for a December 14th release. At a time when there are many biggies around that are choking dates, is this a right move? On November 29th we have 2 Point O hitting cinemas, literally blocking all the theatres for the next couple of weeks. In case if this film ends above average, then Kavacham will surely get many theatres on 14th.

But the thing is, Sharwanand's Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Varun Tej's Antariksham are the other two big releases that are targeting December 21. And then, we have YSR biopic "Yaatra", which is aiming a big release. Kannada hero Yash's KGF, whose trailer just blew minds, is also hitting the marquee on the same date. While films like Antariksham and Yaatra are completely content-oriented, the presence of Sai Pallavi in Padi Padi Leche and extraordinary visual effects in KGF are likely to get huge attention. So where does Bellamkonda fit in this space?

Earlier the likes of Sailaja Reddy Alludu and other mass films committed similar mistakes, by choosing dates that will choke them rather give a free run.
