Radhika Apte is a no-nonsense woman. If a co-star tries to get too close for comfort, trust Radhika to put him in his place. This is exactly what happened on the sets of one of her Tamil films.
The actress made this revelation on a chat show hosted by Neha Dhupia, reports Mumbai Mirror. Recalling the unpleasant experience, Radhika said, "It was my first day on the set and a famous South actor started to tickle my feet. I was stunned as we'd never met before and I instinctively slapped him."
Radhika made her Tamil debut in Prakash Raj's Dhoni in 2012. She has since gone on to star in more Kollywood films, including the blockbuster Kabali, in which she was paired opposite Rajinikanth.
On the work front, Radhika was last seen on the big screen in R Balki's Pad Man opposite Akshay Kumar. The film raked in over Rs 80 crore at the box office, domestically.
Currently, she is gearing up to make her web-series debut with Netflix India's first original series, Sacred Games, which also features Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Sacred Games is a celluloid adaptation of Vikram Chandra's critically acclaimed bestseller of the same name.
