Telugu girl Sobhita Dhulipala shined in recent Spy thriller Goodachari along with Adivi Sesh and the movie is making wonders at box office. Amid the appreciations and congratulatory messages, Sobhita turned the target for trollers when she replied to a tweet of Mahesh Babu.
For tweeting back a 'Thank you' instead of using 'sir' or 'superstar' as a suffix to Mahesh Babu when he congratulated the team for giving such a slick intriguing spy thriller, Sobhita invited trolls from Mahesh Babu fans, most of them with anonymity.
Well, Sobhita chose to respond about being trolled over a thank you tweet, in an exclusive interview to Pinkvilla. She claims to be confused on how it is disrespectful purely for not attaching the salutations like Sir/Superstar/The great etc, even though she has immense respect for him. Sobhita finds it saddening that social media is not a place for safety as anonymity is being misused a lot now.
Few days back Shruti Haasan is being trolled for not posting a condoling tweet on Karunanidhi's death, Adarsh Balakrishna got in a pool of trolls for not mentioning Tarak as 'anna' and now this suggests that many fanatics are misusing their access to post anything on the timelines of celebrities' social media accounts.
With stars started flaunting their friendship and close bond on respective social media platforms, fan wars cooled down since a while and this demand for salutations of respect in recent cases is something that stars need to address before it aggravates into serious trouble.
