Some films don't have author-backed roles, especially for the heroines. Still, those films give a scope for the heroine to showcase a myriad of emotions. Definitely after Ye Maya Chesave, Samantha's role in Dookudu isn't that substantial but still, she impressed in those short-length scenes and songs.
Probably that should be the case of beautiful heroine Lavanya Tripathi as well. However, she's not getting even such blink and miss roles in Telugu movies these days. Yesterday's release "Inttelligent" sounded like a good opportunity for this hottie to prove her skills, but frankly speaking, the film has only those songs of her and she will be seen in two scenes.
She just appears on the screen to say some dialogues and then a song starts. While the songs itself sound like a hurdle to the poor flow of the film, the way she comes to bring them in is more absurd. After looking at her in films like Andala Rakshasi and Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi, many felt that she will get meaty roles to prove her mettle big time. Sadly, its a gross injustice to her talents by roping her only for songs, says her fans.
Whatever it may be, back to back flop show of her films including LOL, Mister, Radha, Yuddham Sharanam where she got some good roles and those films like Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi and Inttelligent that offered her nothing but songs, might slow down her career. Plan well beauty, else the whole track might collapse.
