Is NTR Movie Losing Buzz?

NTR - these three words stand for a stalwart in Telugu Cinema and he is one of the most loved matinee idols of Indian Cinema too. So, biopic on him will be a celebration of his life and Telugu Cinema in general as he is also the first huge mass star.

He even successfully became political leader of Telugu people. He served two times as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh ( unified). His party, Telugu Desham Party is still the leading party in Andhra Pradesh but it is trying to find its way in Telangana.

Keeping the politics aside, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao left his charisma so well on Telugu people that you find his statues everywhere and still, his name rakes in a huge box office moolah.

Hence, his biopic out of cinematic and political curiosity got high level buzz. His son, Nandamuri Balakrishna decided to play NTR on screen.

First few serious looks from the film increased the buzz and Krish being the director, also made many look out for the project.

But as the team flooded with looks from Vetagadu, Gundamma Katha big hits of NTR, recreated, many thought Balakrishna is more looking like a Tamil hero than his father.

Even though his fans did try to look at positives, they couldn't also 100% agree that Balakrishna suited them. Few people have also called sarcastically, that the NTR biopic is the ultimate fan movie, where fan tries to copy his idol however bad or good, it suits him.

Vinaya Vidheya Ram has built even more buzz with one teaser. Some could argue that one film is from young star and another from older person, but the stakes on both films are huge. They need as much of interest as they can sustain for a big first weekend during Sankranthi holidays.
