Akkineni Nagarjuna's latest film 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' opened on a positive note and performing very well at the ticket windows. Delighted with the response from the audience, RGG2 team recently conducted a success meet to celebrate the occasion. Everybody was present at the success meet except comedian Shakalaka Shankar. There is an interesting talk going on in the film circles regarding his absence in the success meet.
It is known that Shakalaka Shankar is one of the rising comedians in Telugu films. Especially his roles in horror comedies like 'Anando Brahma' were widely appreciated. Shankar has pinned hopes on 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' because he has a lengthy role and it is a big-ticket film. But Nagarjuna reportedly suggested the editor to chop off more than ten minutes of comedy scenes involving Shakalaka Shankar. Because he felt that they are disturbing the flow of the movie and those scenes were edited out from the film.
The scenes were actually planned between the emotional scenes and they were actually hilarious as per the buzz. According to the film circles, Shakalaka reportedly stayed away from the success meet as he was disappointed with the development.
