Jagga Jasoos 3 days box office collections

Jagga Jasoos 3 days box office collections
Jagga Jasoos has now completed three days at the box office and has earned Rs 33.17 crore. After a slow Friday and miraculous Saturday, Sunday brought in some more money to help the film post a total over Rs 30 crore. Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures saying, “#JaggaJasoos Fri 8.57 cr, Sat 11.53 cr, Sun 13.07 cr. Total: ₹ 33.17 cr. India biz.” As you can see, the jump from Friday to Saturday was the biggest while Sunday saw an upward trend. Now the question that comes to our mind is, will this be enough to put Jagga Jasoos on the right track?

Given the fact that the film is made at a grand scale, Jagga Jasoos was expected to earn over Rs 50 crore in its first weekend. Only then it can break even. When we had spoken to Amul Vikas Mohan, our Trade Expert and Editor Supercinema about what should be Jagga Jasoos’ goal at the box office, he had mentioned the film has to earn at least Rs 100 crore to turn things around for it. A poor start of 20 percent definitely wasn’t what people were looking for and that punctured the hopes of the film earning well at the box office.

Adarsh also mentioned how the film can make some money at the box office…

#JaggaJasoos had ₹ 33 cr+ opening weekend, witnessing growth on Sat and Sun... Plexes of metros contributed largely to the biz...

Weekdays are crucial for #JaggaJasoos... High costs + mix word of mouth are deterrents... Has to score on weekdays + Weekend 2 to sustain...

Opening weekends are always important. If the first three day post a commendable number, it becomes easy for the film to earn well in the rest of the days. But in Jagga Jasoos’ case, things don’t look too bright.
