We used to see Ajith and Vijay Fans fighting it out like their live depended on it on the first day of their respective favourite star hero's movie release day about who is the King of Openings and whose box office stamina is high. We used to troll them for being so involved and creating so many memes as well.
Now, the same as started in Telugu Cinema too. Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Jr. NTR have fan base higher than any other actor in Telugu Cinema today and their fans take pride to give the titles of big heroes to their respective heroes and others came at poke them for fun as they react very severely for even a valid criticism.
With Meme culture and trolling culture taking up the Internet, Mahesh fans and Pawan Kalyan's fans have divided into groups and started belittling each other at every given opportunity.
During Sardar Gabbar Singh, Mahesh fans talked about the film quality and teased Pawan fans for scoring a disaster. Then, Brahmostavam came and Pawan Kalyan fans took as their responsibility to troll the film and the actor for such a colossal debacle. This became so big news that even reporters couldn't ignore but give it some importance in the daily news. But one reporter had to lose job because of not being able to maintain a restraint while writing about it.
Then, last year, Katamaraydu take the centre stage for being a disaster and as Mahesh fans trusted AR Murugadoss more, they did not expect Spyder to become a disaster. But it did and eventually they got trolled double the times for that.
Not trying to learn a lesson from those experiences, Pawan Kalyan fans thought Trivikram Srinivas's Agnyathavasi will be a sure shot winner at box office but the negative talk and even fan disappointment made Mahesh fans to troll them hard now.
Well, the social media as become a war zone and even the close friends have started distancing each other due to these reasons. When will all this end? Even we are waiting for a healthy competitive atmosphere where trolls are funny for even fans to enjoy but not insulting to the actors and no abusive language is used by young people losing their cool just because someone commented their favorite actor.
