There have been a lot of speculations and gossips about Kangana's tantrums and attitude on the sets of Manikarnika. It was also said that she was the only reason for Krish, Sonu Sood and Swati Semwal quitting the project.
But Kamal Jain, the producer of the film has said that not every other news that pops out about the film, as well as the actor is true. In an interview, Kamal made it clear that Kangana has taken the film onto her shoulders and stepped into the shoes of director Krish. 'I would really not like to comment anything about this. The teaser is out and you have seen that credits are given. We have not side-lined Krish. I don't think I have to rage a war or give chance to others to talk about it,' said Kamal.
It was Sonu Sood who walked out of the project first. Many have said that there were creative differences between him and Kangana, which lead to him quitting. The producer disagrees with the comment and says that Sonu walked out of Manikarnika only because he couldn't adjust the call sheets. 'He was busy with other projects he had in his kitty. So he could accommodate dates with us. That was the only reason,' added Mr Jain.
When asked whether the film has gone over the budget and a lot more had to splurged, the producer said that he cannot reveal about the budget as it is confidential.
The producer looks very much confident about Manikarnika and lets us wait to see how far this confidence shows up on screen.
