It was on this day in 2010 that Rana Daggubati's 'Leader' hit the screens. Since then, the handsome actor has challenged himself time and again.
When he debuted as Sekhar Kammula's hero, one expected him to continue to be on an experimental path. But a couple of missteps came as a nightmare. 'Nenu Na Rakshasi' and 'Naa Ishtam', between them, suggested Rana didn't know how to experiment and, worse still, why he shouldn't do films like the latter.
But later on, his career took a turn for the better, and the 'Baahubali' films were his ticket to national-level fame. He is now the only Tollywood hero doing flicks as different as '1945', 'Haathi Mere Saathi' and the biopic of Marthanda Varma in his kitty. This after films as different as 'Ghazi' and 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri'.
No wonder, a fan of his is saying this much about him: 8years, 14 movies, 4 cameos.. Unique stories, Powerful characters.. Grandpa gave his name, Hard work gave him fame.. Language was never a barrier, Fought with every genre as a warrior.. He's a person with good deed, He's @RanaDaggubati indeed!"
