An interesting project coming up this February is The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Taapsee Pannu. It’s the first war at sea film that narrates an untold story. It’s based on Sankalp Reddy’s book Blue Fish, who happens to be the director as well. Just before the war broke out, 1971, there was a conspiracy tale that many don’t know of. The Ghazi Attack aims to tell everybody that that very mysterious story. The trailer was out today and it has blown everyone’s mind with its hard hitting visuals and starry cast. The fact that this film has been shot in a submarine is just too exciting, apart from the intriguing tale narrated in Amitabh Bachchan’s voice. Rana Daggubati makes for a great looking Naval officer, Kay Kay Menon also creates an impression despite limited screen time. Taapsee Pannu plays a refugee, and you catch glimpse of her despair. All in all, the trailer has created quite the impression. One such genius director is in awe of The Ghazi Attack. We are talking about SS Rajamouli. He has taken to social media to gush about the trailer. He says – ‘How long we have been waiting for such movies to be made in India.’ that’s true! The movie will release in Telugu and Hindi. The film is all set to release on February 17, 2017.
Rana Daggubati was only too happy with his response – Thaaankkkkk you Captain!!!!!! It is you who helped us dream so big!!!. Rana will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s film – Baahubali 2. He plays the cruel brother to Baahubali – BhallalaDeva. That’s two movies of Rana, that we are excited about!
