RX 100 Review:

RX 100 starring Karthikeya and Payal Rajut, directed by Ajay Bhupathi and produced by Ashok Reddy Gummakonda, has hit the theaters today. Chaitan Bharadwaj has composed the music of RX 100. The recently released trailer of RX 100 has already created lot of buzz and generated a lot of curiosity. Let’s see the storyline of RX 100.

Story: Shiva (Karthikeya) lives in Athreyapuram. In the village, everyone is afraid of Shiva and Daddy (Ramki). Shiva lost his parents when he was a kid and he is raised by Daddy. Daddy is a close friend of president Viswanatham (Rao Ramesh). But later differences crop up due to Viswanatham’s corrupt nature. One day, Viswanatham’s daughter Indu (Payal Rajput) meets Shiva and falls for him. Shiva accepts her love but suddenly, Indu married someone else. What happens next? Will Shiva and Indu meet again? To get these answers, one should watch RX 100 at the silver screen.

Plus Points:

Karthikeya
Payal Rajput
Performance
Minus Points:

Bold lip lock scenes
Intimate romance
Screenplay
Performance: Karthikeya, who is new to Tollywood, gave a brilliant performance as middleclass guy in RX 100. His body language, expressions and dialogue delivery are superb. He is extremely confident. Karthikeya performed well in action sequences. Payal Rajput grabs several eyeballs with her glamour and performance. She is perfect for the character. The Chemistry and romance between lead pair, Karthikeya and Payal Rajput, is raw The senior actor Ramki, who made his comeback Tollywood after a gap with RX 100, justifies with his role. Ram Ramesh is ok. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.

Technical: The story of RX 100 is simple and the entire movie is shot in a village without any glamour. Hero characterization is unique. RX 100 is all about the story of a rich girl who falls in the love of middle class boy. RX 100 is loaded with bold lip locks and intimate romantic scenes. Songs scored by Chaitan Bharadwaj are alright. Background music is good. All the songs are shot well. Cinematography by Raam is fantastic. His visuals are eye pleasing and create the right impact. He showed the locations of the village in a beautiful manner. Action sequences are designed extraordinarily. Dialogues are good. Editing by Praveen K L  is just ok. Art direction is excellent. Production Values are good.

Analysis:  There is nothing special in the first half of RX 100 but the twist in second half makes the movie interesting. The title of the film RX 100 is borrowed from the popular and classic bike of the 70s and 80s. Before the release of RX 100, it was expected that Ajay Bhupathi’s directorial venture RX 100 is similar to Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey but RX 100 is no match to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Arjun Reddy. Ajay Bhupathi tried to impress the  audiences with intimate and lip lock scenes in RX 100 but it worked out only to some extent.
