Anushka Shetty's Bhaagamathie is silently attracting distributors, buyers. Given that it is Anushka's immediate film after magnum opus Baahubali : The Conclusion, the theatrical rights of Bhaagamthie have garnered good demand. The latest is that the film's Tamil rights have been sold for a whopping Rs 15 Crore. This is a record deal for a heroine-oriented film.
Gnanavel Raja, of Studio Green, has bought the film's rights. The deal includes both theatrical and satellite rights.
Made on a budget of over Rs 35 Crore, the film has a horror backdrop. While Ashok is directing it, UV Creations, which is bankrolling Prabhas' Saaho, is producing the film. It will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. In Telugu, Bhaagamathie is slated for Jan 26, 2018 release.
