This Actress Doesn't Use Sanitary Pads!

Article
Dia Mirza, ex miss Asia Pacific and current good will ambassador of UNESCO, stated that she is staunch against the usage of sanitary napkins and pads. The actress suggested that the plastic used in these items is non-biodegradable and that people should find alternatives to such environmental hazards.

The actress said, "The sanitary napkins and diapers are polluting the environment on a larger scale and that's why during periods, I have stopped using pads. As an actor, if I am saying this, then it is a big thing because we also promote sanitary napkins. Whenever I get offers of sanitary napkins promotions, I clearly deny them."

She continued to say and suggest, "I use biodegradable napkins that get destroyed 100 percent naturally. In our country, many women still use pieces of cotton cloth during periods€ but now, many options have come. And sadly, most of them are bad for the environment." The actress said we should make an effort to change our environment more friendly to our next generations than polluting it further.
