Time hasn’t come yet Rajinikanth

Time hasn’t come yet Rajinikanth
Chennai Time has not yet come, date is yet to come,” said superstar Rajinikanth with his signature guttural laughter, delivering his much-awaited speech before a massive crowd of fans descended from across Tamil Nadu for the audio-release of his latest flick ‘Kaala’.

If the audience at the YMCA grounds and the millions outside glued to their TV screens and internet sites for the ‘big announcement’ of political launch were disappointed that ‘thalaivar’ failed them this time too, the man in black (kaala) announced, rather flamboyantly: “Tamil people, Tamil Nadu will certainly have a great day ahead. Long live Tamils, Tamil Nadu”. The inference: he will certainly come at the time chosen by him and that would be the best time for the Tamils and their state.

After regaling the cheering crowd with juicy anecdotes from his past movies and the manner in which Kaala came to be made by young talented director Pa.Vijay, the superstar paused for a mischievous moment and said, “Media people here might think I haven’t spoken about the most important thing, even those who made me (fans), think I have not come to the matter. Well, the time hasn’t come yet”.

“I have a duty. Time will come. When it happens with God’s blessings and people’s support, a good time will arrive for Tamil Nadu and for TN people. Vaazhga Tamil makkal, Valarga Tamil Nadu. Jai Hind” he concluded and the crowd went delirious.

Earlier, Rajinikanth urged the people to respect parents and elders, and to think positive. “Your life will be happy. Your life is a like a fort. It’s a bad world out there. Keep your thoughts clear. What you think you become, we should always be productive. Be positive and happy always. Every thought has a colour and weight. If you stay positive, life will always be good.”

About the film, he said Kaala “has politics but it’s not a political film”. Director Ranjith would go places since he was “not a selfish person and wants to do good for his community, people and everyone around him”.

“I have never met anyone who feels so deeply at his age”. +The superstar said after Baasha’s Antony and Padayappa’s Neelambari, the Bollywood across Nana Patekar was simply superb as the villain in Kaala.
