Finally, Agnyaathavaasi is hitting the screens tomorrow and the premiers will be screened tonight. There is no need to talk about the expectations, the hype on the film and we all know how Pawan mania will have a huge impact at the box office. Everything is fine.. but what about the first day collections? The movie will certainly post huge numbers on the first day but how much?
Trade analysts are saying that the movie will collect around Rs.40 crore share in the two Telugu states. According to the estimated figures in Telugu states, Nizam 8.5 to 9.5 crores.. Ceded 6.5 crores.. Guntur 5 crores. East + West 9 crores, Vizag 6 crores, Nellore 2 crores(approximate figures).
In the Overseas, the movie is expected to gross $2 million only with the premier shows. If we include Karnataka, Rest Of India, the first-day figures will easily cross Rs.50 crore share. The figures may appear to be exaggerated to some people but they are not. The movie is having a solo release and 90-95% of the theaters in Telugu states will screen Pawan film. Along with the usual Pawan mania for the tickets, Premiers... extra shows.. increased ticket prices will make it possible as per the trade pundits.
Pawan is referred as King Of Openings in the Tollywood trade circles. So, this feat will surely justify his tag again. The first day collections have nothing to do with the talk so there won't be many variations in the final figures. The movie has to collect Rs. 125 crores for break even. Unless the movie gets a disaster talk, there are good chances that the movie will post good figures in the first week. If the movie gets a hit talk, Pawan-Trivikram combo can surely create a tsunami at the box office.
