So what if Trisha’s film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal with Vijay Sethupathi, featuring Nayanthara, directed by Vignesh Shivn, got jinxed? Confirmed sources say that the VTV actress has now signed another project, where she shares screen space with Sethupathi. The movie is being directed by Prem Kumar, the cinematographer of the commercial blockbuster, Naduvula Konjam Pakkattha Kaanom. And, it is a known fact that the quirky script of NKPK is based on a true incident that happened to Prem Kumar.
Close sources say that Prem had narrated the script to Vijay Sethupathi, a few months ago, and got the actor’s nod as well. Since the Rekka star’s hands were full with several projects that were releasing back to back, sources say Prem waited patiently. The movie is being bankrolled by producer Nandhagopal. “It has an unusual script and Trisha has a solid role,” reveals a source from the creative team.
Meanwhile, Trisha has been busy with the photoshoot for Sathuranga Vettai 2, with Arvind Swami at a popular city studio. The first look poster from her upcoming ghost movie, Mohini, directed by Madhesh, has created quite a stir, as the glamorous actress has been projected as Goddess Durga replete with all weapons including the sword, chakra, sphere, trident, etc.
