Worry palled over fans of megastar Amitabh Bachchan ever since the 75-year-old veteran hinted at his ill health in an early morning blog post on Tuesday.
It wasn't until wife Jaya Bachchan assured everyone in her statement outside Parliament House that Big B is doing fine and he had pain in the shoulders and neck owing to heavy costumes he was wearing for his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan.
An alleged leaked picture of Senior Bachchan went viral on the internet and it set fire to speculations if this could be the actor's new look picture from TOH.
The only problem here is, it wasn't Amitabh Bachchan's photo from Thugs of Hindostan. In fact, the viral pic is a portrait of an Afghan refugee.
Clicked by photojournalist Steve McCurry, the image of the Afghan refugee was taken in Baluchistan.
With a shrunk wrinkled face, white beard and a pair of thicker Harry Potter round glasses, fans were highly skeptical that it would be Amitabh Bachchan and guess what, an ardent fan's instinct never goes wrong! Interestingly, the picture made the rounds of the internet soon after the news of Amitabh Bachchan's poor health condition surfaced.
While the nation and fan family was offering their prayers to the thespian, some miscreants seemed to have passed on this portrait as Amitabh Bachchan's look.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan resumed shooting for Thugs of Hindostan last evening. A team of doctors was flown to Jodhpur to 'fiddle around' with Bachchan's body, as he had written in his blog. Big B assured his fans and followers that he will post medical updates on his blog.
