The comments made by Sathyaraj on Cauvery Water issue as many as 9 years ago has been turning out to be a biggest hurdle for 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. Members of Pro-Kannada Groups have threatened to stall the release if Sathyaraj doesn't issue an unconditional apology.
Trade Pundits say, At least Rs 40 crore is at stake because of the agitation begun by Karnataka Film Associations. Of course, 'Baahubali 2' have the potential to do extremely well in other territories and gain huge profits. But, Rs 40 crore isn't a small amount to ignore and hence Rajamouli is doing his best to resolve the issue. Still, There is no positive response from Kannada Film Bodies & Outfits to the appeal made by the Filmmaker.
Until and unless Sathyaraj conveys an apology, 'Baahubali 2' might continue to face release issues in Karnataka. The Senior Actor, however, isn't willing to succumb to the huge pressure mounted on him. In a way, He is killing Baahubali for real (at least in Karnataka) by doing so.
