'Father Of Indian Mimicry' Is No More

India's father of Mimicry- Nerella Venu Madhav passed away due to age-related illness. He is 85 years old. He earned worldwide popularity and maintained fans worldwide by his unique performances.

He started the career as Mimicry artist at the age 16 and earned international recognition be staging shows in many countries including at United Nations Organization. Venu Madhav also had a brief stint in the films.

The Mimicry artist also maintained cordial relations with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and PV Narasimha Rao and other noted leaders in the country. He also served as MLC in the 1970s. He was the brain behind introducing a first diploma course in mimicry in Telugu University in the world.
