Nadendla Manohar To Join YSR Congress Party?

Former assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar, who has been lying low in the Congress party after the bifurcation of the combined Andhra Pradesh state, is likely to join the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, going by the indications from his camp.

Though Manohar has not given any hints to that effect, it was evident from the statement of his father – former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nadendla Bhaskara Rao, who heaped praises on the Leader of the Opposition.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Bhaskara Rao said that Jagan is doing a good job as an Opposition leader and is a major crowd puller.

Stating that his connect with the people in the state is immense which would work in his favour, the former Chief Minister said that majority of people particularly the youngsters hold the YSRCP chief in high regard.

He even went on to say that Jagan will win the upcoming general election in 2019 and become the next Chief Minister of AP.

May be that is an indication from Nadendla family to Jagan that Manohar is interested in joining the YSRC.

After all, Manohar is not too old to take retirement from politics since there is no political future for him if he continues with the Congress party. Since Jagan has fair chances of coming to power, Manohar might have a bright future ahead.
