On Diwali this year, Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das was spotted riding a scooter without a helmet. He received criticism from Opposition for setting a bad example to the people the state.
Seems like, Raghubar Das has learnt enough lessons from the flak he received. He now began preaching the people of his state about the significance of wearing helmets while driving a two-wheeler.
After taking part in a Spiritual Programme at Agrico Grounds, CM Raghubar Das noticed two youth without helmet while driving a bike. He immediately stopped the vehicle and took a class to the youngsters. Later, Three more people received the same treatment from Chief Minister. Even Traffic Cops were directed to collect challan from them for violating rules.
Raghubar Das stressed the need for implimenting stringent rules to make people take the helmet rule seriously.
