Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan shot off a letter to Andhra Pradesh Director General Of Police requesting the latter to provide permanent police security for him.
Pawan thanked AP Police for accepting his request to provide temporary police security to him and also security arrangements for the public meeting organised on the eve of fourth anniversary of the party in Guntur on Wednesday.
In the wake of increasing people's support and huge mobilization of people during his visit to districts, the Jana Sena leader said if any untoward incidents are reported, government will be held responsible. To avoid such embarrassment, Pawan requested permanent security to him in the future.
At present, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are only provided special security. While Naidu was given protection with Z plus category, Jagan was enjoying tight security from the state police forces.
