The BJP MLC said that in Chandrababu Naidu's regime, there was no scope for a poor man to construct a house due to rampant illegal sand mining across the state. He said that the state BJP leaders had recently met party national president Amit Shah. Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari would be touring the state in July and the exact dates are being finalised, he said. "The National leaders would tour the state to assess the development in the state over the last four years," he said.
Madhav said that way back in 2003 the state should have got a railway zone. He recalled that in those days Yerram Naidu was the chairman of the railway board and Chandrababu had promised a new railway zone for the state. Out of the 33 national projects that have been allocated to AP, 10 are prestigious projects, he said and added that he was surprised over the statements of TDP leaders claiming that centre had done nothing for the state.
