Poll strategist Prasanth Kishore’s controversial political journey makes every one wonder whether he is interested in focusing on his profession or seeking a key political role in the national political scene? His frequent shifting of loyalties wonders everyone in this regard.
His recent forceful exit from JD(U) seems to be compelling him to search for a new political role. Though couple of regional parties are seeking his assistance in formulating their electoral strategies, none of them seems to be are ready to give him any political role.
His desperation revealed again that after coming out from JD(US) he has reportedly taken it as a personal challenge that AAP should retain the Delhi Assembly with the same thumping margin as before. His hope is that if this happens, AAP would then find a way to reward him.
After joining JD(U) and rewarded as its vice president, he expected he would be nominated to Rajya Sabha, so that he can play crucial role in the national politics. But he failed to realise his political ambition.
In BJP also, succeeded to go into good looks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi having monitored his 2014 poll campaign, he expected he would be rewarded with a Rajya Sabha seat. But, entrance of Amit Shah as party chief, he was unable to yield political rewards.
His short journey with Congress also unable to convince any Congress leader on his `political manipulative skills’. Captain Amarinder Singh cautioned him for interfering into internal politics during Punjab assembly polls, when he tried to `dictate’ the century-old party on re-induction of some sidelined leaders.
Rahul Gandhi and the old guard are not enamoured by the pollster, although Priyanka has a soft corner for Kishor, who wanted to handle her social media account.
Though he helped YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh to win the polls, later here too Kishor faced resentment when he tried to play some political role. He faced same experience with regard to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee too.
