TDP to serve no-confidence notice on BJP Government

TDP MPs Sujana Chowdary and Thota Narasimham have announced that hey would serve a notice of no confidence against the Central Government on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh. Talking to mediapersons on Tuesday, they said that a mere no confidence motion cannot dislodge the Modi Government, but it will serve to highlight the problems being faced by the state of Andhra Pradesh.

They said that they were yet to take a decision on the candidate for the Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha. They said they would oppose both the BJP and the Congress. “If the other parties put up a conadiate, then the TDP chief would take a call, “ they said.

They also scoffed at the reports that the Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has not given the TDP MPs an appointment. Uddhav is not in town. Hence, we could not meet him, they pointed out.
