Visakhapatnam donates 30L for cyclone victims

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has decided to donate Rs30 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation works of the Titli victims in Srikakulam.

All trade union leaders of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Wednesday met the Director personnel KCDas and announced to contribute Rs300 from each employee to help the Titli victims in Srikakulam. The leaders urged the management also to contribute for helping victims.

While responding to the union leaders, KCDas informed to them that the management has decided to donate Rs30 lakh and also as a part of CSR activity essential commodities and other relief material for 1000 families will be sent to the Srikakulam administration shortly.

The leaders including Ayodhyaramu, GVenkata Rao, GBosubabu, YMasthanappa, VRamkumar, VRammohan Rao, BKamesh, Varasala Srinivasa Rao and VPrasad among others were met the director personnel.
