World Bank shock to Chandrababu?

Andhra Pradesh was reportedly in for a rude shock as it is learned that the World Bank is in the dilemma over funding to the state capital region Amaravati, which is in the process of development.

The World Bank is yet to approve the loan sought by the State government as it is currently working with the AP government and the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) and observing the various complaints submitted by some of the farmers of the state on land pooling issue. Though World Bank officials visted Amaravati in the second week of September and met the farmers, it is yet to come to a conclusion.
