22 Students Committed Suicide' KCR Must Answer on Inter Students

Article
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao must answer the Telangana people about the suicide of 22 Intermediate students across the State after Intermediate exam results were declared, TPCC vice-president and Manthani MLA D Sridhar Babu demanded.

Speaking at a press meet in Manthani on Friday, Sridhar Babu alleged that due to the irregularities that took place in Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), thousands of students and their parents have been under severe mental stress and in deep depression. Nobody can fill the void of the parents, whose children committed suicide. "Killing of innocent students and causing problems to thousands, is this the Bangaru Telangana the CM is dreaming about," he questioned.

The officials of Intermediate Board along with the government played with the lives of about 10 lakh students and their parents and relatives with the negligent valuation and allotting marks as they wish, without even considering the papers that are written by the students, Sridhar Babu criticised.

The TPCC vice-president further stated that without accepting the mistake that occurred, the Telangana government was trying to give silly explanation. Not only that, he said that it is outrageous for the government to ask the students to pay Rs 700 for revaluation. The entire nation is observing how the Telangana government is playing with the lives of Intermediate students, he stated.
