6 Peoples Arrested Online cricket betting racket in Nalgonda

The Miryalaguda police on Saturday arrested six members for allegedly running an online IPL cricket betting racket. Other five who also involved in the racket have gone absconding. 15 mobile phones, Rs 5 lakh cash was seized from them.

The prime accused Vemula Pullarao, a native of Guntur has been running the racket for the three years with his friends. He then approached a Mumbai based firm to develop an app through which he made money.

The police acting on a tip-off raided his home in Ashok Nagar and arrested Golli Srinivas, Koteshwara Rao, Shaik Idayatulla, Upender and Suman. Meanwhile, the police launched a search to nab Shaik Sadik, Srikanth Reddy, Anil, Bhagat.
