Temperature soars in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

The temperature in both the Telugu speaking states will soon touch records as mercury hovering over 46-degree Celsius at several places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. 

According to the IMD officials, the moisture in the atmosphere from the two states was depleted due to the cyclonic Fani increasing the severity of heat. 

The temperatures in Khammam, Karimnagar, Peddapalli,Mahbubabad and Jagitial touching 45 to 46-degree Celsius. However, IMD has issued heatwave warning in Telangana till May 10.
