After Tanushree Dutta rubbished reports of police giving a clean chit to actor Nana Patekar on the sexual harassment case filed by actress, it is now official that the Nana Patekar sexual harassment case has been closed by the police. This marks the first official #MeToo case that has reportedly collapsed. According to reports in Times Now, the sexual harassment case filed against actor Nana Patekar was closed by cops on grounds that there was no ‘no prima facie case against the actor.

Earlier, Tanushree had claimed that the reports of Nana getting a clean chit from the police were a false rumour floating in the media. She also claimed that Nana's public relation team is spreading all these false rumours because the accused in harassment cases are reportedly not getting any work in the industry and this is their attempt at damage control and fixing his public image.

According to reports, last year, Tanushree had accused Nana Patekar of behaving inappropriately with her on the sets of her film ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’. She said reportedly asserted that that he tried to forcefully introduce intimate steps into the choreography of a special song in the film. According to her, choreographer Ganesh Acharya had also stepped aside 'obediently' when Nana tried to do this. Later, Tanushree had walked out of the film and Rakhi Sawant replaced her in the song.
