We all know how Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gives utmost preference to promote Telangana's history and culture. Gunasekhar's Rudramma Devi is first such attempt in film industry which will showcase the grandeur of Telangana history to current generation. The movie is almost in the verge of getting entertainment tax exemption in Telangana but they say Guna missed it in the last moment.
Guna is planning the Audio function of the film in AP and Telangana. The Chief Ministers of both the states will be the Chief Guest of those event in their states. Recently Guna went to KCR to invite him for the audio function in Telangana. He even showcased the trailer of the film to the Chief Minister only to disturb him.
The dialogue in the trailer 'Oka Thalli Paalu Thaagina Vallandaru Annadhammulaithe. Oke Neelu Thaagi brathikevallantha Annadhammulu, Akkachellellu kaalema' irked the Telangana Chief Minister. He felt that the dialogue is against the cause of Telangana state formation and expressed his dissatifaction with Guna himself.
It is said that Angry KCR did not confirm anything about him attending the audio function in Telangana or Tax exemption for the film in the state. Guna himself is the producer of this big budget film and tax exemption will be of very great help to him. We will have to see what finally happens in this case!
