Aamir Khan, who is currently gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Dangal’, was reported to have given the green signal for Shankar’s sequel to the hit Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Robot’. However Aamir won’t be a part of the highly-anticipated.
According to a report in Absolute India, the actor has decided to give all his time to prepare for ‘Dangal’, and is going to continue with his ‘one film at a time’ policy.
A source was quoted as saying, “Shankar has been wanting to collaborate with Aamir since the past seven to eight years. They have always wanted to work on a project and a couple of times, Aamir has even flown down to Chennai to discuss possible projects they could collaborate on. After Robot became a super hit with Rajinikanth, Shankar decided to make a sequel to the film and approached Aamir to play the villain. The three even apparently met and discussed the project at length but it also meant that Aamir would have to work on two projects simultaneously. After thinking hard, the actor decided to let go of Robot 2 and concentrate on Dangal.”
Pictures of Aamir’s new look for the film ‘Dangal’ have already surfaced on the internet. He will be playing a wrestler in the film, which is a physically demanding role, and so he has decided to concentrate on just one film.
