Politics and entertainment industry being mutually interdependent on each other is not a new trend. Election campaigns are run by the celebrities across the country and we have many celebrities who have proved their worth as politicians too including Ambareesh, Jaggesh, Ramya and many more. Now, with the BBMP elections to be announced in a month, sources state that actress-producer Priya Hassan of Jambada Hudugi fame and comedian Bullet Prakash are all set to contest in the same.

While Priya Hassan has expressed her interest to contest the election from the Congress party, Bullet Prakash is expected to contest from the Kempapura ward of Hebbal in the city. Though the talks about contesting in the elections have been initiated from both the individuals, nothing has been finalised yet.
