139 die in heat wave,Bhupalapalli records 50 degrees
Heat wave conditions continued to prevail over Telangana and AP states on Friday. In two days, nearly 139 people died of heat stroke. Bhupalapalli recorded 50 degrees celcius while Warangal district is blazing at 46 degree celcius on Friday. Suryapet in Nalgonda, Palavancha in Khammam district, Nizamabad district and several other places in AP recorded temperatures of over 40 degrees celcius.Hyderabad blazed at a maximum of 44.3 degree celsius, beating a five-year record.The temperatures will continue to hover around 47 degree celcius in the next two days. The meteorological authorities have urged the people not to come out of their houses, unless for some urgent work.
