Bobby Jindal,Obama,Gay Marriages
Bobby Jindal, the Lousiana Governor of Indian origin, has strongly condemned the views of the American President Barack Obama and also Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, over their views on gay marriages. Bobby criticized Obama and Hillary for coming to their opinions based on public polls.
Bobby Jindal recently announced that he will be running for the presidential post and became the 13th Republican aspirant to vie for the White House in 2016. Stating that his views of marriage are based on his Christian faith, Bobby said that no court's decision can change that and went on to state that marriage is between a man and a woman.
As soon as the US Supreme Court announced its judgment making the same-sex marriages legal in the 50 states in the country, the US President Barack Obama tweeted saying that the court's ruling is a victory for America. Joining Obama was Hillary Clinton, who also praised the apex court's judgment.
Bobby Jindal said that it's offensive to equate evangelical Christians, Catholics and others that perceive marriage as between man and woman as being racist. 'We think we're all equal under god's eyes. We simply believe marriage - we don't believe we should change the definition of marriage simply because of opinion polls or because of a court that, quite frankly, isn't looking at the constitution', said Bobby.
