The people of Hyderabad should now get ready to face four hour power cuts in city from the first week of February onwards. The state Government is now planning to impose four hour power cuts in city and six hours in the rest of Telangana state.

Already the government imposing power cuts in many areas even on Sankranthi festival there were lot of power cuts in the city.  Currently the demand of power in the state is 128 MU per day but the supply is only 125 MU and in February it may go up to 128 MU and by March it may go up to 140 MU however the situation may improve only after the month of May when the Monsoon starts.

The Government is trying to purchase power from other states if it gets power from 800 MW from Dabhol plant then we can expect there will be some relief during the summer.
