Hyderabad: Senior actor Rajendra Prasad, who was elected new president of the MAA ( Movie Artistes Association ), reiterated he would strive to implement his promises given to the artistes before the election.
Speaking to a news channel soon after his election, Rajendra Prasad said that right from tomorrow, he would work on collecting funds from his NRI fans and top people in the industry to implement pensions to all eligible artistes.
"My first signature will be on pension file ," Rajendra Prasad told the channel in a discussion.
The actor also revealed that he would meet Chandrababu Naidu and KCR, chief ministers of AP and Telangana respectively seeking their support to implement schemes for the welfare of artistes.
