The scare of Swine flu is yet to come to a rest as the virus has claimed two more lives in the last 48 hours bringing the death toll to 62 in Telangana this year.

Health authorities informed that the victims, a 51 year old farmer from Sangareddy, Medak and 47 year old man from Kondur mandal, Mahbubnagar; both died on Wednesday at the Gandhi Hospital but their samples were tested positive of the H1N1 virus on Thursday.

On the other hand, 54 more positive cases were confirmed by the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM). The total count of people tested positive of Swine Flu since January 1 stands at 1,792 out of which 1,700 are from Telangana alone.
