Says so a Congress leader. After the TRS defeat for the first time after bifurcation in the MLC polls (graduate constituency),  the Congress had become emboldened to take on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandradhekar Rao single handedly.

The defeat of TRS nominee Devi Prasad at the hands of BJP’s N. Ramachandra Rao in the MLC polls has given ammunition to the Opposition to hit out at the TRS government.

Mohd Ali Shabbir, MLC and senior Congress leader termed  KCR as a monarch and dictator and hoped  the defeat would open his eyes “The results should act as an eye-opener for the CM who has been functioning like a dictator,” he said.

Shabbir  Ali said the government had neglected the families of the TS martyrs, did not provide jobs to the unemployed and went back on the promises it made to the employees and added that this was the beginning of end for the TRS.

"KCR and his family members are trying to mislead the people by giving contradictory statements on Pranahita Chevella," he said.
