Kolkata: Trinamool Congress MP Subhendu Adhikary has been summoned by CBI in the Saradha Chit Fund scam.

Adhikari's name has repeatedly cropped up in the case. On Tuesday, main accused Sudipta Sen's aide Arvind Chauhan had told CBI that Adhikari met Sudipta days before the latter went into hiding.

Suspended party MP Kunal Ghosh had also revealed that Adhikari had made monetary transactions with Sudipta.
