Universal hero Kamal Haasan is one celeb who doesn't like taking back seat when it comes to voicing out his opinion on various issues. The actor, now being recuperated from leg injury, tossed some interesting and thought-provoking comments over the ongoing rift between Karnataka-Tamil Nadu and Cauvery river.
Reacting to latest series of incidents in both states, the actor tweeted, 'I feel embarrassed for such activities which mirror out the history in a bad sense.' Kamal expressed his views in a couple of tweets written in Tamil language, 'River Cauvery began its flow even before the existence of languages and it will continue to flow in coming generations too.'
The rift on river Cauvery caught attention of everyone starting from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Superstar Rajinikanth, after Kannadigas protest over Supreme Court's judgement to state asking to release 12000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu.
Kamal Haasan is currently working on a bilingual film titled Naidu (in Telugu) which also has actor's daughter Shruti Haasan playing a prime role.
