Remember the classic song 'Kannullo Nee Rupame' in Ninne Pelladatha? Well, the song shot on Nagarjuna and Tabu was quite a rage among youth and the song has been an epitome for romance. Now banking on the song and its popularity, Nandu's forthcoming film has been named after the song. Nandu is paired up with Kannada actress Tejaswini Prakash. Billed to be a romantic comedy, Nandu plays the role of Sunny and Tejaswini essays the role of Srushthi.
Latest is that both Nandu and his wife-singer Geetha Madhuri are happy the way the film shaping up and pinning hopes on the film that it would bring back Nandu into glory. Directed by newcomer Bix, the film's talkie part is wrapped up and only shooting of a few songs is balance.
Nandu is last seen in Vijay Devarakonda's Pelli Choopulu in a significant role and the film has become a sleeper hit. Nandu had tried his hand as solo hero in past such as Ram Gopal Varma's 365 Days that failed miserably and he is awaiting to make a mark as solo hero.
Let's wait and see whether KNR would change Nandu's fortunes as hero or not.
