Analysis:
Jabardasth is a romantic comedy film with all masala ingredients. Siddharth-Samantha's performances are the main attractions in the film. Nandini Reddy's engaging screenplay and funny dialogues and one-liners, SS Thaman's music, good picturisation, rib-tickling comedy sequences, beautiful costumes and art work are other highlights of the film.
There is nothing big to boast about the story of the movie Jabardasth. It is loosely inspired by Band Baaja Baaraat, but it is not a complete remake of the Hindi film. Nandini Reddy has taken the basic plot and the lead pair from the original and narrated the story as per the taste of Telugu audience. The director has good grip on the tempo and she successfully runs the show with all commercial elements.
The film starts in Bihar with the entry of Sayaji Shinde as Bihar babu, which is very funny. The director goes on building viewers' interest with a couple of songs and few comedy sequences in the first half. A sentiment scene between Sid and Sam before the interval bang brings a new twist to the story. The second half is even more interesting with a few romantic and funny moments.
The climax is also good. Baireddy (Siddharth) is a smart and fun-loving guy, who falls in love with Shreya (Samantha), but a situation leads to their break-up. After the split, they start separate event management companies. Here enters drama artist Lakshmi Devi (Nithya Menon), who joins his new business team. What happens next will form the crux of the story.
Final Word: Overall,Jabardasth is Entertaining subject.Samantha’s glamour and Nithya Menen’s sterling performance makes Jabardasth one time watch.Treat for comedy lovers. Don't miss it if you are a fan of Siddharth.
