14000 Tollywood workers belonging to entire 24 crafts went on flash strike starting from today. They announced their decision yesterday after their demand for wage increments were not met by the Film Industry.

Komara Venkatesh, AP Film Workers President said the clause in the agreement that filmmakers can employ any worker is not acceptable to them. He said this will be a loss to the employees.

He questioned if that is the case then why Producers Council should enter in AP Film Chamber. On the other side Boorugupalli Sivarama Krishna, President of Producers Council said no where in India, employees wages are raised in such monumental fashion.
