Cast:
Ajith Kumar, Anushka Shetty, Trisha Krishnan, Arun Vijay, Parvathy Nair, Vivek
Director:  Gautham Menon
Producer: A. M. Rathnam
Music Director: Harris Jayaraj

Story:

Yentha Vaadu Gaani is the dubbed version of a Tamil film Yennai Arindhaal. The story revolves around the tough no-nonsense cop (played by Ajith). Ajith in his teen age loses his beloved dad Nassar who was killed by dreaded criminals. At this point of life, Ajith is motivated to take revenge upon the criminals. Ajith struggles a lot and finally becomes an IPS officer. In his journey as a police officer, he meets Trisha, classical dancer and falls in love with her.  Ajith as a police officer goes on an eliminating spree all the criminals and antisocial elements. What has Trisha and Anushka to do with Ajith? Will he marry both? Will he able to extract revenge on his father’s killers. Why was his father killed in the first instance?  For all the answers watch Yentha Vaadu Gaani, a brilliant movie by Gautham Menon.

Performances:

Ultimate Star Ajith Kumar has made a brilliant performance in Yentha Vaadu Gaani. The various roles Ajith played in the movie is simply amazing. The role as young police office-cum-lover, dad for a 7 year old girl, and later as an experienced police officer, each role is played in a perfect manner. Trisha looks gorgeous in the movie. On the other hand, Anushka is at her best. Director Gautam Menon who is fond of making cop based films has made a perfect job with Thala Ajith. Each character in the movie is handled with extreme care. Vivek as comedian and friend has played a decent role impresses the audiences.

Arun Vijay as villain has done a fantastic job. His looks and body language perfectly fits to his role.

Plus Points:

Yentha Vaadu Gaani is a typical Gautham Menon movie who has done a brilliant job. Gautham Menon – Ajith is the major plus in the movie. Ajith in different distinct roles and the way the two heroines Trisha and Anushka are presented in a dignified manner is really appreciating.

Harris Jeyaraj music has already reached well to the audiences. Camera work by Dan Macarthur is a visual treat that is very cool and pleasant.

Minus Points:

Looks like screenplay was not given much importance. Which is why the first half looked dragging. Most of the scenes of Yentha Vaadu Gaani remind Gautham Menon’s previous movies and gives no new feel for this movie. This is little disappointing.

Analysis:

Yentha Vaadu Gaani is a good cop based movie.

Verdict:

Yentha Vaadu Gaani is a good entertainer with all masala elements in it.
