After a lot of dilly dallying, finally the lead actress opposite Akhil Akkineni in his debut film has been finalised. According to reliable sources, Bollywood actress Amyra Dastur is roped in to romance Akhil. Amyra made her acting debut in Bollywood with "Issaq" opposite Pratiek Babbar in 2013. She instantly hit the headlines and grabbed many eyeballs with her spicy lip-lock scene in her debut Issaq. 21-year-old Amyra is currently doing a Tamil movie "Anegan" in which she pairs up with Danush.

The yet-to-be-titled movie is being directed by VV Vinayak. Touted to be a social fantasy laced with entertainment and youthful romance, Veligonda Srinivas has penned the story. Sudhakar Reddy and actor Nithiin are jointly producing the film under their home banner Sresht Movies. SS Thaman will render the music whereas Amol Rathod cranks the camera. With the finalisation of heroine, the movie is all set to hit the floors. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
